Who it's for

A place that works for everyone in the room

Pitching next week, presenting at school, learning public speaking, or simply happy to listen: there is a role for you, with or without payment.

Speakers and presenters

Rehearse in front of real people

Pitching, presenting at school next week, or learning to speak with confidence: practise live, hear honest reactions, and walk into the real moment ready.

  • A real audience on demand
  • Specific, human feedback
  • Free or paid audiences

Paid audience

Get rewarded for your time and opinion

Join short live sessions, listen properly, take part and give considered feedback. Rewards are paid for genuine participation, not for opening a tab.

  • Clear reward shown up front
  • Short, flexible sessions
  • Transparent completion rules

Free volunteers

Listen, learn and help someone improve

Volunteer to be someone's audience at no cost. Hear new ideas, pick up speaking tips by watching, and build a reputation as a thoughtful listener.

  • No payment either way
  • Volunteer badges and reputation
  • Learn by watching others speak

Businesses, researchers and educators

Test ideas with real people

Run a customer conversation, a product walkthrough or a practice session for your students, and gather opinions from the audience you actually need.

  • Target by interests and background
  • Structured feedback questions
  • Session reports

Free or paid: you choose

Free sessions run on volunteer audiences and cost nothing. Paid sessions are funded by the speaker and reward participants who complete them. A session can even offer both.

Illustrative scenarios

Every conversation starts somewhere.

These are fictional scenarios showing how people can use ShadowSpeak. They are not customer testimonials.

01 · The student

A student has an important university presentation coming up. Instead of practising alone, they organize a short session with real people. They present their ideas, answer questions and discover where they need to improve.

02 · The entrepreneur

An entrepreneur has an idea but does not know how potential customers will react. They organize a session, invite a relevant audience and discover what people actually think.

03 · The creator

A content creator wants feedback before publishing a new project. They bring their work to ShadowSpeak, listen to opinions and improve their next release.

04 · The participant

Someone joins a short session after class. They listen to a presentation, ask a question, share their opinion and, if the session is paid, receive a reward for completing the activity.

Trust and transparency

How it works behind the scenes

How rewards are calculated

Speakers set a reward per paid participant. The platform commission is configurable and shown before a session is funded. Free sessions have no money involved.

How attendance is verified

Attendance time is measured on our servers from join and leave events. A participant must meet the session's completion policy, for example minimum time and feedback submitted. Camera presence alone is never treated as proof of engagement.

How your information is protected

Other users never see your email or private details. Meeting rooms are only accessible to approved participants.

Recordings and consent

Sessions are never recorded automatically. A recording only happens after clear disclosure and the consent of participants.

Disputes

Either side can report a problem. Reports are reviewed by our team and payments can be held or reversed while a dispute is open.

How speakers fund sessions

A paid session is funded up front into escrow and released to participants who complete it. Unused funds return to the speaker. Payments are currently in simulated test mode until a payment provider is connected.
